Learning and Thriving!

I really enjoy the benefits of having a mixed age group. They learn so much! First, it is like family life, as the children are different ages and what one child’s strength may be, another child can pick it up and learn from it. Such as with a set of blocks. A child may know what the colors are and by playing and through language another may pick it up. There is also the helper aspect of older children wanting to be naturing to a younger child. Through the interaction a younger child can learn speech as they have chances of interaction with other children in the group.

I love that we are a close group with lots of one on one interaction!
